Dr. Jane Spadaro, MD, PharmD, is a Board-eligible Ophthalmologist, having completed ophthalmology residency at Yale School of Medicine in Connecticut. She is a practicing provider, and experienced clinical researcher.
Dr. Spadaro earned a dual degree PharmD/MD from Rutgers’ Robert Wood Johnson Medical School, graduating at the top of her class and inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha medical honor society. She completed her residency at Yale School of Medicine. She has authored numerous original papers in various peer-reviewed journals, including Ophthalmic Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery (OPRS) and Orbit, as well as a book chapter on Thyroid Eye Disease for International Ophthalmology Clinics. She has presented at several meetings, including the American Society of Ophthalmic Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery (ASOPRS) annual meeting.
Dr. Spadaro joined Kahana Oculoplastic and Orbital Surgery in July 2023 as an American Society of Ophthalmic Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery (ASOPRS) surgical fellow.
In addition to her clinical research at Kahana Oculoplastic & Orbital Surgery, Dr. Spadaro has worked with global teams in patient critical clinical trials and has participated in clinical research with companies such as Tourmaline, Acelyrin, Immunovent, Lassen, Viridian, Novartis, Bristol-Myers Squibb, and universities such as the Robert Wood Johnson Medical School, Purdue University, and Yale University.
Dr. Spadaro is the recipient of multiple academic awards of excellence and achievement and an American Society of Ophthalmic Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery (ASOPRS) oculoplastic and orbital surgery fellowship.
